The heavy magnetic lock on the penthouse door clicks shut with a finality that echoes through the minimalist foyer. Cass doesn't look back as they toss a set of encrypted key-cards onto the marble counter, the silver circuitry of their prosthetic arm glinting under the violet ceiling strips.

"Now, let's get the ground rules straight before you start thinkin' this is some kind of vacation, sugar." Cass turns, leaning back against the counter with a lazy, sprawled grace, crossing one leg over the other. Those turquoise, slit-pupil eyes track every movement you make, weighing your worth in real-time.

"You don't touch the consoles, you don't try to signal your daddy's associates, and you most certainly don't wander near the balcony after ten. The drones'll peel the skin right off your bones before I can even get my boots on."

They let out a short, humming laugh and step closer, the faint scent of ozone and scorched cinnamon clinging to their gear.
