Our approach
Fliick is a platform for fiction. Stories may explore intense, dramatic, and mature themes — that is what fiction does. But creative freedom on Fliick operates within hard limits: content that is illegal, that harms or endangers real people, or that falls into the prohibited categories below is not allowed anywhere on the Service, in any form, regardless of framing or intent.
These rules apply to everything on the Service: characters and their settings, images, chat conversations, comments, names, handles, and tags. Where a rule could be read two ways, we enforce the safer reading — intentionally ambiguous content is treated as violating.
Child safety — zero tolerance
Protecting minors is our highest priority. Any content that sexualizes minors is prohibited without exception — including purely fictional characters, AI-generated content, and text. All characters engaged in romantic or mature-themed narratives must be clearly established as adults (18+), both physically and in character. Characters of ambiguous, unstated, or contradictory age are treated as underage and removed. User personas presented as minors are prohibited in romantic or mature contexts regardless of framing.
We remove violating content on detection, terminate accounts involved, and report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement as required by law.
Sexual content limits
Fliick is not an adult service. Obscene and pornographic material — content designed primarily for sexual gratification rather than storytelling — is prohibited. Sexually explicit imagery of any kind (including nudity, depictions of sexual acts, and "censored" versions of such images) is prohibited everywhere on the Service, including character art, generated images, and avatars.
The following are prohibited in any medium, including text: sexual content involving minors or characters presented as minors; sexual content depicting real, identifiable people; non-consensual intimate imagery and sexual "deepfakes"; bestiality (sexual content involving animals or realistic animal-like creatures); necrophilia; incest between blood relatives; content presenting sexual violence or non-consent as gratifying; and content promoting or soliciting prostitution, escort services, or human trafficking.
Real people
Characters depicting real, private individuals are prohibited. Impersonating any real person, or using someone's name, image, or likeness without permission, is prohibited. Sexual or romantic content about any real, identifiable person is prohibited — including celebrities and public figures, and including attempts to "age up" real minors. Content about public figures is limited to clearly non-deceptive commentary or parody and must not be sexual, harassing, or defamatory.
Violence, self-harm, and illegal activity
Fiction may involve conflict and darkness; the following may not: content that glorifies or provides instructions for suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders; content that promotes terrorism, violent extremism, or violence against real people or groups; realistic instructions for weapons, explosives, or illegal drugs; graphic gore imagery; and content that facilitates any real-world crime. Depictions of cruelty to real animals are prohibited.
Harassment and hate
Content that attacks people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or serious disease is prohibited. Harassment, bullying, threats, defamation, and publishing others' private information (doxxing) are prohibited.
Platform integrity
Do not attempt to bypass, disable, or manipulate our safety systems or moderation, whether through prompt manipulation, re-uploading removed content, or technical means. Do not post links to content that would violate these rules if hosted here. Spam, scams, malware, unauthorized scraping, and automated account creation are prohibited.
Moderation and enforcement
Published characters go through automated review before public exposure, supplemented by human moderation. Chat and image generation are covered by automated safety systems. Depending on severity, enforcement ranges from content removal and feature restriction to account termination; child-safety violations result in immediate permanent termination.
When we remove or restrict your content or account, we tell you which rule the action was based on, except where notice is prohibited or would create risk to others. If you believe we made a mistake, you can appeal any enforcement decision by contacting webmaster@fliick.ai within 30 days. We review appeals and respond as promptly as we can.
Reporting
Every story and comment has a Report option with reason categories, and you can block stories, creators, and tags to keep unwanted content out of your recommendations. Reports are anonymous to the reported creator. Anyone — with or without an account — can report content they believe is illegal or that violates this policy by emailing webmaster@fliick.ai; we acknowledge such reports and act on them promptly. Urgent safety concerns should also go to webmaster@fliick.ai.
DMCA — copyright complaints
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent at webmaster@fliick.ai including: (1) identification of the copyrighted work; (2) identification and location (URL) of the allegedly infringing material; (3) your name, address, email, and telephone number; (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and (6) your physical or electronic signature.
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address including identification of the removed material and its prior location, a statement under penalty of perjury of your good-faith belief that the removal was a mistake, your contact information, consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the United States, the District of Delaware), and your signature. Unless the original claimant files a court action, we may restore the material in 10–14 business days.
We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
18 U.S.C. § 2257 — record-keeping statement
Fliick is an AI-driven storytelling service. All characters on the Service are fictional, and all visual material consists of artwork or AI-generated images of fictional characters. Sexually explicit imagery of any kind is prohibited by this Content Policy, and Fliick does not produce, host, or distribute visual depictions of actual human beings engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
Because no content on the Service constitutes a visual depiction of an actual human being engaged in sexually explicit conduct, Fliick is not a "producer" for purposes of 18 U.S.C. §§ 2257 or 2257A, and the record-keeping requirements of those sections are not triggered.
Legal process
We cooperate with law enforcement and respond to valid legal process. Legal requests: webmaster@fliick.ai.
